Turning on Procedure

Turn on the Valve on the 9kg Gas Supply cylinder
Press the Black variable control knob and turn to the HI position, keep holding the Black Knob pressed in and ignite by pressing the red igniter button. You may need to ignite several times to get it to light. You should see a small blue pilot gas flame. (if it does not light - turn to off position, make sure gas is open, start over, press and turn to HI, keep holding down for the gas to flow, wait 10 seconds and then try to re-ignite)
After the burner ignites, keep pressing the Black control knob down for 10 seconds, release the black knob.
Turn the variable knob to select the desired temperature.

Turning off

press lightly and turn the black variable control knob to the off postition.
don’t forget to turn off the gas supply cylinder to shut down the heater completely.

Why do I get a gas smell when using the heater?

All gas appliances leaves an odour. The gas is particulary strong if the unit is not ignited, turn off the gas supply immediately if this happens.
