Application:
- The hand held concrete cutter is primarily used for cutting into concrete floors and walls . It can also be used for cutting into tar and any uneven undulating surface.
- This machine is generally used where there is no electricity and is required on a vertical angle.
- It can be used for fossilized material eg use in museums etc.
- It is also used for cutting steel by changing the blades. This machine features a direct drive and has an excellent power to weight ratio.
- It uses synthetic 2 stroke fuel which we supply and sold in litres.
- It has a water feature which allows you to use a hose for continous flow of water to the blade.
- The blade used is 355 mm and cut cut to a depth of 165 mm and has a 25.4 mm arbour. It is able to cut through reinforced concrete .Diamond blades are charged out per mm rate ,measured before and after every hire and confirmed with client.
- Diamond blades can be bought from us if there is plenty of cutting to be done.
How to Use:
- Check fuel level and top up using our 2 stroke synthetic fuel only.
- You can connect your water hose if you using .
- Place your hand on the handle and obtain a steady footing.
- Switch machine on and lock the throttle lever.
- Apply choke only if engine is cold, otherwise just pull the recoil to start.
- Upon starting release throttle lever and let machine idle and let it warm up.
- You can now cut and do not force the machine as it puts strain on the diamond blade.
