Chainsaws Get Blunt

Chainsaws always become blunt during use. The time in which it takes to becomes blunt depends on the type of wood being cut and how dry the wood is. The drier the wood the faster the chain becomes blunt. The chainsaw will be sharpened at no extra charge when the chain becomes blunt. This can only be done at one of our branches so the machine must be returned to us for sharpening. Sharpening takes approximately 15 minutes. Please don’t rant and rave about a chainsaw that does not want to cut because it is blunt. All our saws are sharp when they leave our shop, we have explained how and why this happens and what the solution is. Chainsaws always become blunt after use. Starting

Make sure the Brake is not engaged, pull it back towards the rear of the machine to disengage is completely Switch the stop button “on” and pull the choke all the way out. Place the saw on the ground.
Hold the saw firmly on the ground while you start it. Put your right foot through the rear handle and grip the front handle firmly with your left hand. Pull the starter cord with your right hand until the engine fires. Now push in the choke without moving the throttle control. The saw has an automatic start throttle setting.
